Intrepid Ibex Countdown - 19 days to go
19 days to go for Intrepid Ibex, the newest Ubuntu release! Can’t wait for the new ubuntu!
(Officially) an Ubuntu user
Well, I got so many stress by using my wind0w$ XP. Except all this crash, 2 days ago, my windows XP showed a screen, which tells me that my wind0w$ XP is broken, and I need to repair it. Or, should I say, reinstall wind0w$ XP. Well, I just think about this a moment ago, but never know that the moment would come this early. The moment of what? The moment of Open Source time!
And it’s ubuntu, the lovely OS. I’ve tried ubuntu for several weeks, and I love ubuntu, more ever that XP. The only one thing that makes me confused about switching to ubuntu is the compability issue. I know that my printer have one driver, and I think that there’s not even a printer driver for ubuntu. But?
Yes, there’s a lot of tutorial for my printer! And specifically, for my printer’s type, there’s several tutorial! May God bless ubuntu.
There’s also a problem with the LaTeX editor in ubuntu, but as soon as I find out that there are many LaTeX editor in ubuntu (such as I use right now, Kile), and the LaTeX editor is better than TexNic Center (the one I use in Wind0w$). And after that moment, I think that switching to ubuntu is a very good thing.
After all, there’s a saying, which I think is true:
The Best Things in Life are Free
So, why don’t switch to ubuntu?
